His professional experience includes being the vice president and president in Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Coca-Cola (Japan) Company Limited. Later, he founded Theravalues Corporation, where he served as president for 10 years.

ATSUSHI IMAIZUMI, Ph.D.
Advisor

After getting a position in Teijin Limited, he was a board member of Teijin Pharma Limited and he engaged in the research and development of medicines. After leaving Teijin Pharma Limited, he joined Theravalues Corporation as the Vice President and served as CSO.​

Director

He was responsible for many pharmacological research and clinical development projects at Showa Denko K.K. and Teijin Limited, where he oversaw and led pharmaceutical research and development operations as Laboratory Director and Clinical Development Manager.

•Therabiopharma is based in the Kanagawa Science Park (KSP), Japan’s first urban science park. With a site area of approximately 55,000 m² and about 4,500 people working on campus, KSP is one of the largest research and development hubs in the country.

•Companies specializing in biotechnology, IT, semiconductors, electronics, and mechatronics are engaged in cutting-edge research and development at KSP. A diverse range of organizations—from major domestic and global corporations to entrepreneurs aiming to create new industries—use KSP as a base for their activities and are actively driving technological innovation.
